Sorry I am so behind on my blog entries. The idea was to have a blog entry every day that I run. But that gets stretched some times.
Today is a special day in our house: I have the WMFH-LP transmitter on and I am transmitting “test” programming. We have a big college football game in the area with lots of people traveling the highway between Starkville and Tuscaloosa. We thought maybe we could get some listeners as they travel through. And we need the practice.
Since getting that laptop a few weeks ago I have been able to add to our library of playable content and work on the scheduling software. I have more to do in both of those areas. But we have enough to get started on.
Another thing that happened this week: Last night the men from church had a “skeet shoot” event. So earlier this week I acquired a gun suitable for such things. And I went to the event and had a good time. I’m not particularly good at shooting clay pigeons, but I hit a few and it was nice to be out.
Yet another thing: we finally broke down and bought a new mattress for our bed. That was delivered today so we will take it for a test-drive sleep tonight.
