[Friday: 3 miles; Saturday 4+ miles]
We had a nice extended weekend for Thanksgiving. On Thursday morning we got up early and drove to New Harmony for the half marathon. I was a spectator.
Then we drove home and visited with a house full of relatives while the turkey was roasting. We had Thanksgiving dinner around 3 and it was delicious. We also opened Christmas presents since many of the people in attendance were going to be out of town for Christmas this year.
Friday I did just a small bit of shopping. We also tore up the old cheap sheet flooring in the kitchen in anticipation of new tile.
Saturday was running club in the morning, painting some of the front porch railing in mid-day, then the Egg Bowl football game in the evening. (The Egg Bowl is the annual intra-state rivalry game between Mississippi State and Ol’ Miss. MSU hosted, and lost.)
[I had a couple of paragraphs in here about a strained personal relationship… thought better of it.]
