1 – power meter is done and working
2 – LCD monitor is fixed and working
3 – Cesium clock sold on ebay, awaiting payment
Ongoing projects:
1 – autonomous weather station: weather station is working, the software handled the daylight savings time change in a smooth manner. Now I need to work on power supply issues. First part of that is to build a low-loss DC-DC power supply to run this thing off of batteries. It looks like the current draw is going to be about 300 mA (1/3 of a watt) I will need to size battery so as to keep that running for a few days and eventually size solar panel to charge up that size of a battery.
2 – 40 db tap for the power meter: I did some looking at Lowes today and did not find the plumbing parts that this guy uses on his project. More work to be done.
