[Recent runs: not much]
Our running and project work has been somewhat disrupted recently.
On the weather station front, I am letting the BeagleBone do its thing at least until the passage of spring daylight-savings-time change. That will show me if the wview software will handle DST changes. Next after that is to create a common power supply system that will serve both the weather station and the BeagleBone. I will probably use a 12 VDC gel cell battery to start with, then look more at solar recharge.
On the GPSDO/Cesium oscillator front, I am still gathering readings to compare the two. I have not graphed the total data for about two weeks. I should do that. I put the Cesium standard up on ebay and the auction ends on Saturday. I hope to make oodles of cash but will be happy if I can get enough to pay a couple of recent bills and to maybe buy an Elecraft K2 ham radio.
I received a couple of new projects:
1) A large Pelco flatscreen TV which has a bad power supply. I think the issue is the electrolytic capacitors, some of them are bulged. I need to get the PS board out of the TV and take stock of what capacitors I need to order.
2) I bought circuit boards and parts for a KA7EXM PIC Power Meter. The boards came from the KA7EXM website. The parts came from DigiKey. I have the PIC board put together and I have been working on the box and buttons. Then I will put the RF sensor board together. I have an issue with interconnects. That is always a problem for me. I think I can scrounge enough parts from my junkbox to make it work.
