More movement on our pergola. Having built the overhead structure the next step is to put in some kind of under-foot solid surface. To do that we need a more-or-less level area.
The ground level falls away too abruptly, so we need some kind of grade work. And the easiest thing we’ve thought of so far is to put in a small retaining wall and some fill dirt.
Not knowing about how to get this started, we called up a landscape place in the Yellow Pages, and the guy visited and eventually gave us a quote.
So tomorrow they are supposed to come in and build our little retaining wall.
