Today’s Run:  3.40 miles

Today is my Mother’s birthday.  She is (((whisper *72*))) and she is amazing!  So~Happy Birthday, Mom!

Tomorrow evening, we are having “The Crew” over to our house for a Birthday Party for Mom~How much fun!!!  We will have hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, funeral potatoes (don’t you just love that name!?!) and a pumpkin roll.  Perfect.  Oh, and a present.

Speaking of presents, my sister and I took a road trip today.  We drove to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  That sounds like a long drive but it is really only an hour from my house.  Not so awful.  And it is a nice drive.  Not a lot of traffic, pretty rolling hills and great shopping!  Cannot beat it.  But we went there for Mom’s birthday present.

And that is all I have to say about that because Mom reads this blog and she is not allowed to know what her present is until tomorrow.

So, the long and the short of it is, my sister and I had a great time shopping today.  Talked a ton, got lunch, got Starbucks and a 13.1 sticker for my car.  All in all a successful shopping trip.
