Today’s Run: 5K (PR 36.07)
I use a web site each day called myfitnesspal.com (MFP). This is a great site for people who are wanting to learn portion control, good eating habits, exercise, log food, and make friends who are wanting to learn to do the same things. Great user friendly site. Until today.
My news feed on MFP went ka-put! I can log in on Chrome but not on Mozilla. All I get is weird text. No format. Frustrating. Fortunately, one of my MFP friends took pity on me and sent a msg to tech support. (Yeah and thank you! You know who you are 🙂
So, today, my husband and I have been working with Scott. Scott works in tech support at MFP. He is a very patient person but unfortunately unable to help. He, just now, after six hours, decided to send my little problem over to the “engineers”. lovely. We have been given an estimate of Monday before I am up and running again. boo.
Not their fault. Well, really it is but not the people with whom I am working. They are going through all their trouble shooting steps, in chronological order, before jumping to conclusions.
I am thankful for my husband, my IT guy, who is able to understand what it is the Scott keeps asking and to be able to answer in an intelligent manner. Yeah for my husband!
All this said, MFP is an excellent resource for people who are looking to shed a few (or a lot) pounds! They have great ideas, great people and great support. I highly recommend it.
