Today’s Run: 4 miles~hills
Well, we managed to listen to ten minutes of last nights presidential debate on NPR last night. That was enough. I do not know how people with televisions glue themselves to it and actually watch that kind of thing. Listening to it is bad enough. And I have seen some news reports that say that President Obama actually won the debate!?! Not from what I heard. But then again, I could only stand it for about ten minutes.
I must admit that I do not have a great deal of respect for our President. Romans chapter 13 states that “Every soul should be subject unto the higher powers. The powers that be are ordained of God.”. I obey the law of the land and I recognize that our President is who God wants in charge of this country right now~ and I am hopeful that in a few months God will see fit to bring someone new into office.
Let me state here that I am not big into politics and refrain from commenting on political things here, on FB, in real life…it is just not my thing because it makes me upset and I do not like being upset…so I do not talk about it. What I will do is encourage everyone to get out and vote. Vote as you see fit, not as how I would like you to vote. Vote your conscience. Vote informed. Here is the way things are now as far as to which candidate is carrying what states:http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map.html Just make sure to vote please.
