Today’s Run:  60 min lifting at the “Y”

Well, it is official.  New York City has banned the sale of soda/pop in containers over 16 oz.  What will become of 7-11?  They are infamous for their Big Gulp fountain drinks.  What will they do with that large inventory of Big Gulp cups?

I understand the position that they are trying to curb the obesity problem in our nation, but by restricting our soft drink beverages? Are they going to limit how many 12 oz. bottles of Mt. Dew one person can purchase?  All these convenience stores have to do is have “two-for” sales.

I really feel that telling a person how much Coke a person can drink is stupid. (I am on a rant here!) Are they going to check your fountain drink cup as you leave the door to see if it contains leaded or unleaded soda, or, horrors! water!!!

Well, maybe it is not such a bad idea after all?
