Today’s Run:  Rest Day

We began pergola work at 6:00ish this morning.  No nail pounding or anything, just measuring and clamping~that sort of thing.  We started the pounding at 7:30.  We figure if you are not up by 7:30 then too bad, so sad (even if it is a Saturday!).

Help began to arrive around 9:15.  My parents came over and the pounding began in earnest.  Pound, pound, pound, saw, saw, saw.  Lots of noise for the neighbors to enjoy!

We had a little rain, about a half hours worth.  Just enough to drive the humidity up.  Lovely.  So, we grilled lunch and waited for the rest of the help to arrive.  They pulled in around 12:45.  We ate and then went back to the pounding.

The natives got a little restless so that meant a trip to a convenience store for junk food.  That settle the little darlings down for a bit.  By the time we returned, the help was packing up.  It was 4:30 and all were pretty tuckered for the day.
