College Graduate

This coming May 7, 2016, you will find MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I heading over to Mississippi State University for a special event.  This special event is to watch #1 Son graduate with his Bachelor’s Degree!

College is a challenging time for a person.  You enter a teenager and leave an adult.  Lots of changes happen during the college years.  Doesn’t matter who you are, you will face all sorts of challenges and either conquer them or in some cases kind of fade away.

#1 Son chose to conquer the challenges.  He elected to rise above all the little twists and turns that life had to offer and emerge a victor.

He began his college career at a local community college in Colorado.  He received his AA degree from the community college and then decided to relocate to Mississippi where MFH and I were living.

After a few bumps in the road, he buckled down, got serious about his major and here we are, planning on going to see him graduate!  I couldn’t be more proud of him!

The icing on the cake is that he has been accepted and will be going to Grad School in the fall.  This is pretty big. deal. stuff.

My most heartfelt congratulations go out to him as he embarks on a new chapter of his life.

I guess my baby is all grown up!
