Today’s Run:  6.5 miles

The Planets by Gustav Holst is one if my favorite compositions.  When I was in High School, a friend and I went to a concert of The Planets with a lazer light show included.  It was a great evening.

Jump to this morning.  I was taking out the trash around 5:00, right before we left for the running group, when I noticed two of the planets in alignment.  Pretty cool!  Now, I have never been one to be able to pick out the constellations (aside from the big dipper) or anything, but I know two planets lined up when I see it and I am under the impression that it does not happen every night.  So, I hurried back into the house and grabbed my phone and took this pic.  This is Venus (the brighter one) and Jupiter.
