We haven’t chatted about Paxton for almost an entire week.
Horrors!!!
I don’t know how I could have let this slide for so long. Everybody needs a Paxton fix. I know I do, at least!
We had a very busy Saturday at our house. The running group met at 5:30 am. This is one of Paxton’s favorite days of the week! He turns on the charm. He wiggles and is a cute and adorable puppy to all the runners who come to visit. By the time the last runner goes home, Paxton is toast. It is time for a very serious puppy nap.
However…
MFH and I had work planned on the radio tower!
We are almost ready to install the antenna for our non-profit radio station. We hope to be on the air this fall. Fingers crossed anyway! If you want to know more about our project, the web site is: http://www.wmfhlp.org/ This is an exciting time for us as we have been working on this project for around 2.5 years! Cool Beans!
Seeing as we had tower work to do, that meant that MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I were outdoors. MFH was climbing to the tippy top of the tower and I was doing the ground work. Paxton HAD to supervise. Of course.
We spent most of the afternoon outdoors and finally got the tower ready for the antenna installation. We were wanting to do that yesterday but it didn’t work out. Hopefully we’ll get that antenna installed next weekend.
All of this to say, Paxton missed out on his afternoon puppy nap! We came back into the house and Paxton went, CRASH! He was out for the count. Hahaha!!! That poor dog was soooo tired!
MFH and I hadn’t had our Nutty Bar yet, so we decided to split our Nutty Bar. Normally, the *crinkle* of a Nutty Bar wrapper will send that dog flying to your side. He knows what the sound is and he knows he wants some! But not Saturday. Poor Paxton slept right though the Nutty Bar wrapper and didn’t get the tinniest of nibbles.
Yesterday, Paxton was awake. I think somehow he knew he had missed out on the Nutty Bars. Who knows? Maybe his peanut butter meter was low? Hahaha!!! All I know is that when I opened yesterday’s package of Nutty Bars…BOOM! there he was!
That brings us to today.
THAT DOG!!!
He was not patient today. No, he was not! He wanted his nibble of Nutty Bar and he wanted it N.O.W. He got very upset with me for not eating faster. Paxton was throwing a puppy temper-tantrum. He was being naughty.
He almost missed out on his nibble of Nutty Bar today. Almost.
Spoiled Paxton!
