I mowed today.  For the first time in 2015, I mowed.

I am waaaaay behind schedule for mowing.  Usually, I start mowing in the middle of February but it’s been a very cold and incredibly wet winter.  That equals, no mowing.

You all know I love to mow.  It is one of the highlights of my week!  With two acres in Mississippi, I get my fair share of mowing for close to 10 months out of the year.

So, why am I tagging GigiBeans?

Haha!  I thought you’d never ask.

GigiBeans…with all of the rain this winter, the Fire Ant Hills are popping up all over the place!  They are everywhere and the hills are huge!!!

So, I just wanted you to know that I thought of you as I mowed right over those beauties this afternoon.  Those ants were furious!  They are also ruining my yard so I don’t feel guilty about it.  Not one. little. bit.

I did take a pic of one to show you.  I am proud of myself!  This one is across the street from the house so I didn’t mow over it OR kick it over to watch the angry ants.  Nope.  I just took the pic and walked away.

There is hope for me!   🙂
