The New York City Marathon Lottery closed the drawing to the US runners close to an hour ago.  If your charge card had not shown activity on it from the race by that time, you were not in the race.

My charge card was lonely.  The NYC Marathon had not talked to it all day long.

I had gone onto the NYC Marathon FB page where a lot of people were commenting about watching their charge card activity, etc.  I commented there that I would let them charge me double as long as they didn’t tell MFH (My Favorite Husband) that I had said that.

I guess they wouldn’t let me in without telling MFH.

Not being one to take “No” for an answer, when the lottery registration opens again next year, I’ll put my name in the hat, AGAIN! and keep my fingers crossed, AGAIN!
