Today’s Run:  4.21 miles

Today was the day that I was privileged to go to Wal-Mart and do my bi-monthly grocery shopping.  This is a day that I look forward to with bated breath!  A day to fill my empty larder with all sorts of goodies and necessities.  A day to fight through the amazing crowds and wait in the never ending line at the checkout.

Because I have a baby shower to attend tomorrow, I ended up purchasing more than usual (I needed to get my gift(s)) and ended up with two shopping carts by the time I was done.  I spent $375.00!  An amazing amount of money for two weeks groceries for three people and some baby shower stuff!  Well, if I am spending that kind of money and then waiting for over thirty minutes in checkout, I deserve some decent service.  No?

The produce department did not have four of the items I needed (that means another trip to Kroger) and they were not nice when I asked about it.  The shelves were not stocked.  But the doozey was the checkout lady.  I am a pretty tolerant person but I have never~Ever! encountered such a rude/mean person in all my life!  She really took the cake!  EWWW!  She made me so mad!  Good thing I do not get mad easy or I could have let her have it.

Oh well…all that is done.  My groceries are put away and the baby shower gift is ready for tomorrow.  The only thing I did not do was get a card~I forgot.  I think I will let my husband take care of that.  No?
