Today’s Run:  5.20 miles

I usually do not participate in Throwback Thursday.  The reason behind this is due to the fact that all I can think about with old pics is of my being very, very heavy. I do not like to remember that time in my life so I do not post those photographs.

Today, I recalled fun times in my life.  Times with my husband (who was not yet my husband) and myself when we were still in High School.

My husband and I met the first day of 8th grade.  We were in the same home room and were sent to the Principals office before school even really got started for the year.  We met trudging down the hallway to that office.

Do not get me wrong, it would make a great story if we were in trouble already but that was not the case.  The school office had misplaced our milk passes and we were sent to retrieve them.  End of story.  Kinda.  We have been together as good friends ever since then and husband and wife for 28+ years.  I would say that was a successful trip to the school office!

I have many fond memories of time spent with MFH (My Favorite Husband) over all of these years.  Years that I would never, ever trade away.  So, back to Throwback Thursday…I found a pic of my husband and myself from our Jr. year of High School.  A friend of ours sister was getting married and a music group we were in had been asked to provide music for the wedding.  This is a pic from the wedding.
