Today’s Run: 4.22 miles
My husband and I had errands to run today. We often do that during his lunch hour~it is amazing how much a person can accomplish with a truncated amount of time.
We completed our errands and were just sitting down to our computers when the doorbell rang. It was our neighbor.
Our neighbor is a very nice, soft spoken and really rather shy lady. I like her. Today, she was NOT being shy. She was literally shaking!
“I think someone broke into my house.” she whispered.
She proceeded to show us the pics she took on her phone of doors ajar that were firmly shut when she had left the house.
We asked her if she had gone into the house. “No.” was her reply. Good.
We called 911. They arrived a short time later and are now over at her house doing whatever 911 does for home invasion calls.
Why is this spooky/creepy? Well, it is a violation! Of her personal possessions and space! A woman’s home is her castle, doggone it!
AND~if it really is a home invasion, we are leaving for 10 days tomorrow! Yes, our son is staying at our house and everything, but still…
That is just spooky and it is just creepy.
