I Am Computer Illiterate

Today’s Run:  4.25 miles

I am computer illiterate.  I freely admit this fact.  It is strange that while I am very gifted in messing up computers, my husband is a “computer guru” for a living!  They say that opposites attract.

I am getting better at surfing the net, FB, emails etc. without blowing up my laptop.  I have a smart phone which I am able to use with relative ease, so I guess there is hope for me yet.

However…

I am stumped.  See…

I am a member of a few online running clubs.  Just “Hi!  This is what I ran today” or “I had a really rough run today” and what have you. Encouragement.  Support.  Questions asked and answered.  Just nice.

Today, I was approached about beginning a Mississippi chapter for one of these running clubs.  I was stunned.  Flattered.  Excited to be able to participate.  Stumped.

Stumped at the computer work that I needed to do to get the chapter up and running.  Now, I can copy and paste with the best of them but boy, some of this stuff is way beyond my meager abilities on the laptop.

Enter:  My husband.

I have asked my husband to help me this evening with the computer stuff so I can have this ready by the 25th.  That is when they are making chapter announcements.  That is two days to get this done.  I am sure it is something easy and he will have no problem with it.  I hope.

So, this is really something exciting!  Cool Beans!!!
