Today’s Run: 3.60 miles

Finally!  The chickens have names.

The bossy Sexlink:  Drill Sargent…goes by Sarge

The other thee Sexlinks:  Larry, Daryl and Daryl

The Buff Orpington:  Ginger~named after Ginger on Gilligan’s Island.  Ginger was pretty and vapid.  Fits this bird to a “T”.

The Australorp:  Ed Strakrispie  (she’s the black hen)

The Barred Rock:  Gretta. She is so feminine and Gretta just seems to fit her personality and appearance.

My Easter Eggers:  These two hens stick together like glue.  One is a pretty brown and the other white.  The Brown one is Mutt and the White one is Jeff.

I have spent a lot of time (too much time, really) watching these hens and trying to find just the right name for them.  Thanks for all of your help in offering suggestions!  Some of you sent me PM’s with lists of names and other’s posted on the blog.  You guys had great ideas!  Thanks again!
