Today’s Run  6.50 miles

We ran MacIntyre Road this morning and it was a lovely run!  The temp was only 76 F. and Humidity was 77%!  Perfect!!!

We do not run MacIntyre very often.  It consists primarily of gravelly hills.  But it sure is pretty!  The trees canopy the road for the majority of the run.  Just beautiful.  In the Summer months that canopy brings much needed relief from the sun but it also brings out the insects.  Always remember to put on bug spray before you run this route!

With the cooler temps and lower humidity, we decided to give it a try this morning.  What a great time we had!  You could not ask for a more pretty morning.  I had that song from the musical “Oklahoma” on the brain as we ran, “Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh, what a beautiful day…”.

My husband sometimes takes pics of me as we run.  Someday, his phone camera is going to break, not from him dropping it, but because of taking pics of me.  Surely he could find better material of which to take pics.  (My husband was the photographer for our High School year book.  There were lots of pics of me in the year books, too 🙂  Anyway, I will share with you the pic from the run this morning.
