“Yes Sir… No Sir”

Today’s Run:  walking the dog and mowing

Our daughter lives on the edge of town~almost in the country, as a result, most of our driving is out in the country.

There is this field of cattle that we have passed daily.  I made my husband (asked nicely) to stop in the middle of the highway today so I could take a picture. This picture was of a longhorn steer.  He is impressive.  He is also vain.

As soon as we stopped to take a pic, he stood up and looked directly at me.  Not to charge, but to look his best.  He KNEW I was going to take his picture.  Obviously, this has happened before.  So, he posed and I clicked my phone camera, crossing my fingers that a pic would come out.

There is an electric fence surrounding this field.  I think that is to discourage people from getting into the field rather than to discourage the cattle.  Anyway, this guy is impressive and if he came charging, the only thing appropriate to say would be, “Yes, Sir…No, Sir”.
