Today’s Run: 3.56 miles  (Watson Road)

Received a friend request on Facebook today. I was surprised to see who sent it.  She is a very nice lady and I quickly accepted her request.  Not soon after, I heard my laptop “beep” with a private message.  It was my new friend wanting to talk with me.  Interesting.

The topic of conversation…well, she should have had me sit down first, that is all I can say.  See, they are starting a new magazine in the area in which I live and she wanted to know if I would be interested in writing an article for the magazine!.  Wow!!!  Of course I showed amazing restraint and waited all of three seconds before saying, “I would love to!”.

So, this evening, I have been writing and my husband has had his red pen out, marking up my prose.  I think it is livewithable (live-with-able) and we will see what the editor has to say.  A new experience to say the least.  Keep your fingers crossed!
