Today’s Run: 5K
Sunday, on our way to church, we noticed a newborn calf. He was a cute little guy! Mostly black with white on his tail and face. He was bouncing around the field as cute as could be. We decided to go back in the afternoon and take his picture but when we got there, he was no where to be found.
We drove around for close to fifteen minutes exploring the adjacent fields thinking maybe the rancher had moved him. His mama was still in the original field with the bull. We decided against walking through the field with the bull present (Call me a chicken~but there was no way you could get me to do that!). We just could NOT find the little guy.
Oh, No! What if they turned him into Veal!?! That would be awful! He was so cute!!!
So, the past three days, every time we drove past the field, we have been watching for him. And guess what? Today, there he was. The little stinker. He must have been laying down in the grass or something burt today he was bouncing around like a bunny. Boing, boing, boing! He really thought he was hot stuff.
Without giving him a chance to get away again and hide, we stopped the car in the middle of the road and took his picture. So there! He liked us doing that and started showing off a bit and we tried to take more photos of him but the camera said, “Disk full”.
So, here is the pic of the little calf.
