‘mornin’

Today’s Run:  4.15 miles

We had an absolutely awesome run this morning!  I was a little but fuzzy as we began.  I was in a ‘mornin’ mood.  No, “Good Morning!” from me. It was as if I had not had my first cup of coffee or something.  But the run saved the day!

It was super foggy this morning.  All was still, the air was heavy and it was difficult to see the traffic (especially since most motorists were driving without their headlights~what’s up with that!?!).

We ran across Highway 45 South.  Highway 45 South is a four lane divided highway. We only had to run across it, not along it but boy, it was tough to see those cars without their headlights.  We did not have any trouble as we are very careful around the highway.

After we crossed 45 South, we ran along McEntyre Road.  McEntyre Road is a curvy, gravel, rural road.  Lots of cattle to encourage you along the way, one dog that makes you happy that the owners abide by the leash law and rail road tracks.  Today, we only ran as far as the rail road tracks and then turned around.

The trees along this route canopy the road and it is very cozy and relaxing.  With the fog, it was intimate.  Lovely run today!IMG00757-20130206-0738
