Paxton’s Necktie

MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I have been out in the garage for a little while now making homemade ice cream.  Yummy!!!

It’s not done yet.

While we were out there (MFH is finishing it up.  It should be done in 10-15 minutes), we were feeding Paxton chunks of the ice.  Paxton was getting warm but didn’t want to be in the house~he wanted to be in the garage where all the action was!  Because Paxton was getting warm, we started feeding him ice chunks from the bag of ice.

Paxton would stand still and crunch each piece of ice.  Crunch.  Crunch.  Crunch.

He wouldn’t move a muscle until the ice was gone.  Then he would come over and ask for another piece of ice.  He was hot and thirsty.

MFH thought that maybe Paxton was too hot because of his necktie.  MFH thought that Paxton was getting tired of wearing a necktie and wanted me to take it off.

I shrugged and said, “We’ll find out.”

I called Paxton over and slipped off his tie.

That did not go over well.

If you’ve ever seen a 130 lb Boxer stomp his feet and throw a temper tantrum, that is exactly what he did.

Not wanting to cause any puppy distress, I immediately slipped the tie back on.

All’s well that ends well.
