[Monday 3.6 miles on the beach]
This past weekend was extended by the Monday President’s Day holiday. We put the pets into storage on Friday and set off Saturday for the Gulf Coast.
We drove down through Montgomery, AL and south to Panama City Beach, FL. Saturday evening and Sunday morning we had opportunity to visit with my brother who had driven over from Gainesville to see us. We had a nice time.
Late Monday morning we started out, going west to Pensacola and then up through Mobile, AL and Meridian, MS arriving home just before 7 pm.
I didn’t do any swimming in the ocean, but I did enjoy walking and jogging on the beach. Sunday the place was really hopping, lots of people sunbathing and fishing. By evening it had started to settle down.
