[Today’s run: 4 miles]
I spent a bit of yesterday evening and most of today at the Iowa State Fair.
I enjoy going to the fair. We didn’t go for a long time. We went in 2012 and then again in 2014. And now this year.
Today I watched some Cowboy Ride & Shoot activities which involves riders who shoot at balloons while they steer their horses around barrel-racer-style. That went on most of the day so I watched a bit then went off and did other things and came back, and did that again.
During the “other things” time I went through most of the exhibit buildings and looked at restored tractors and new tractors. I watched a lady paint someone’s portrait. I recorded a commercial for a radio station (they said they might even use it). I watched some sheep judging.
I did a whole bunch of stuff. I walked around a lot too.
