[Today’s run: 3.4]
This morning I got up early and went with my neighbor, rode along with his truck driving operation. We took four loads of asphalt from the plant to US-45 south toward Macon.
After we did that he let me drive around the block. I was actually able to shift a few times. My braking is harsh and the shifting is still not good. But I’m improving.
I went for a run in the early evening. When coming back I saw two WW-II airplanes go overhead in close formation. I think they may have been P-51 Mustangs. My wife was thinking maybe this was some sort of a fly-by for the car racetrack north of our house. Or maybe it was just people from the air force base out having fun.
