[Today’s run: 10 miles, Tuesday we ran 4.75 miles]
Today we are in Des Moines, Iowa. Our run was on a bike trail that starts from the east-side suburb of Pleasant Hill. We took it as far as Altoona, IA then we came back the same way. It worked out to be just a bit over 10 miles.
We have been in Colorado for the last few days. Then we drove to Des Moines. Tomorrow we drive south and may try to make it all the way home to Mississippi.
I have been without ham radio for more than a week now! (I should probably have taken a QRP rig on the trip.)
I did my most recent blog postings with the little notepad computer I received for my birthday. It is really sweet for catching up on email and such. The entry interface for this blog software doesn’t work well with the browser on the notepad. Therefore, my posts from that are usually very short.
But I had not forgotten you. I was just taking a little break.
Today I got a call from the office so I fired up the laptop and did the office thing. And I’m doing the blog thing. Probably no entry tomorrow.
