Today’s Run:  It’s Christmas~you kiddin’ me?!?  Rest Day!!!

Merry Christmas!!!  We had a wonderful day and trust you did, too!

We met over at my parents house with my sister and her family, both of my parents, my husband and our son.  The only person missing was our daughter in Colorado.  We visited her a couple of weeks ago, if you remember, and did our Christmas with her when we were there.

For that past six weeks or so, I have been keeping a secret from my husband~his Christmas present~and it has been killing me!!!

Over the past couple of years, my husband has been able to attend a few of the Mississippi State University home football games and has really enjoyed it.  The fact of the matter is, every game he has been to, the Bulldogs have won.  He considers himself a good luck charm for MSU.

So, with the help of my sister’s family and my parents, we were able to secure season tickets for him for 2013.  This was a very exciting thing for me because he is the man who has “everything” and therefore, difficult to buy for.  But season tickets, Wow!!!  What a great idea!

We started giving him things to prepare him for game attendance way back on his birthday (Nov. 18).  Then my son gave him a cowbell (I’ll not explain the cowbell thing here~different post altogether), I got him a cap…all things he needs for game attendance.  I thought for sure he would figure it out!  But Nope!!!

Boy, was he surprised!  And pleasantly so, I might add!!!
