Today’s Run:  5 miles

On a recent trip (last week) to Colorado, we had the privilege to spend about a week with our daughter.  The time went by quickly and we packed many things into our little vacation.  One of the things we did was a day trip to Denver.

Our daughter lives about an hour North of Denver in an itty bitty burg.  It is convenient to many larger towns and of course to Denver.  So, on our last full day in Colorado, off we drove to the mile high city.  Our little group comprised of my daughter, her roommate and myself. What a great time we had.

The purpose of the trip was H & M Clothing.  She was in need of some “basics” and that was THE place to purchase them.  It was part of her Christmas present.  We arrived around lunch time and shopped, tried on clothes, shopped some more and then ate.

Lunch was the Denver Hard Rock Cafe.

On our way home, we passed a Marijuana Dispensary.  I tried to get a pic, but a white van was in my way…boo. Seeing as the state of Colorado has just legalized the recreational use of pot, it was interesting to me to actually see one of the old medical marijuana dispensaries.  Like I said, interesting.
