Today’s Run:  Rest Day!

Busy day!  My daughter and I took a planned shopping trip with her roommate.  We shopped until we dropped, or at least ran out of money.  By the time we finished shopping we were starved.  Shopping works up an appetite!

We decided on Hard Rock Cafe for some lunch.  We really wanted to go the Coyote Ugly, but they did not open until 4:00 and it was only 1:30, so Hard Rock it was.  We decided on three appetizers.  Some Mexican Spring Rolls, Bruschetta and Nachos.  I did not eat the Nachos, not my thing, but the other two were acceptable.

We arrived back at the house and waited for my husband to come back from the office and then it was off for dinner.  We went to a Hawaiian restaurant.  Interesting food.  A nice change from hamburgers and Italian food.  But the dessert!  Oh, Wow!!!  I had some serious, and I mean serious dessert.  A chocolate martini.  Words fail how perfect that was.  And it was pretty, too!
