Today’s Run: 10 miles (on the button!)
This morning we ran and ran and ran. For ten miles we ran. It took a very long time. Then we stopped! Yeah!
When we were done with this mornings run, we visited with the folks a little bit and then headed home. But not to stay. Today was moving day.
For a while now, our son has been asking for his own place. He had his own place when he lived in Colorado but when he moved down to Mississippi, he decided that he would live with us for a while. That was okay with us~we did not have to pay his rent and a mortgage payment! But I guess having a place of his own got into his system because he decided that he really did like having his own place and could he “please have an apartment closer to school?”.So, this week he and my husband found a place, paid all the deposits and received a key in return.
This morning we loaded up the car and the truck and traveled the twenty odd miles to the new place. We had a little excitement in the form of car trouble along the way but I think that can easily be remedied.
So, now, our son is in his new place and all unpacked. He has some food in the refrigerator and an ice cube maker in the freezer that actually works! Life is good!
