Today’s Run:  Rest Day

Well, today was the last of my two cataract surgeries.  Everything went incredibly well and I am more than pleased.  There is only one minor hitch.  I cannot do a thing for the next three days!  No bending over, no lifting anything over fifteen pounds (my purse weighs more than that!) no much of anything!  I am supposed to let people peel me grapes and the like.  That does not go over well when there is a pergola building project in process.

So~I have scheduled a work day for this Saturday.  I called my Sister and enlisted the help of her family along with that of my parents.  The deal is, “Will work for food”.  I have salad, brats, hamburgers, chips, salsa, hummus and nutty bars!  What more could a hungry gang want?

My husband finished sinking that last post this afternoon so the framing can be completed and we can hopefully make some progress on the horizontal boards.  Once that is all done, I get to plant some Wisteria and watch it grow and we can enjoy the shade!  Cool Beans!
