Today’s run: 3.09 miles

This Saturday my husbands Aunt and Uncle are celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary.  Congratulations to them!  For their reception my mother-in-law committed to baking sixty (60) dozen cookies and today I pitched in to help in the baking effort.

We began baking this morning around 8:00 and finished up around 6:30 this evening.  We did have to take a mini break to make a Wal Mart run for more ingredients~other than that, we were in the kitchen mixing, molding dough into balls and taste testing the “broken” ones to make sure they were coming out alright.

So the tally for today was nineteen and one half (19 1/2) dozen cookies.
