Posting a bunch of pics for you today, Aiden!
First off, Happy Weekend!!! I heard you weren’t feeling so spiffy during the night. Hoping you’re feeling better this morning!?
We ran mile repeats today. That was tough but we got it done. You know how speed work isn’t our best kind of running. As a matter of fact, we pretty much stink at it. LOL!!!
We opened our email while drinking our coffee this morning and about choked! We had entered the lottery for this 100mile race. The lottery was only open 24 hours and you know we don’t always have the best luck in lotteries. They drew our name!!! Looks like we’ll be running two 100 mile races in 2017. We have the first one in Feb. It’s in Texas. The new one is next August and it’s a little bit north of LA in California.
The last two pics? Well, we’ve had this armadillo in our yard for quite a while. It had dug itself a cozy hole underneath MFH’s fishing boat. MFH (My Favorite Husband) kept filling in the hole and the armadillo would dig back out. Finally, we thought it had moved on.
We ended up mowing yesterday and look what we found? The armadillo had decided to dig a new hole. It goes under the foundation of the house! We’re going to have to figure out what to do about that armadillo. Goofy thing.
It was supposed to rain on our run today but it didn’t! We had nice, bright sunshine for the whole run. 🙂
