My cute little IRun4 running buddy, Aiden, is having surgery this next Monday.  Surgery is a big deal, at least to me, so I planned a little something to arrive at his house to maybe make the ordeal a little easier.

See, I still had my plastic bucket from the Crawfish Festival MFH (My Favorite Husband) and I had gone to a few weeks back.  I had been telling little Aiden about the festival.

Crawfish is a special treat for me so I was pretty excited about it.  The day of the festival, his mom had tagged me on the IRun4 page telling me not to forget that it was Crawfish day.  Haha!!!  Like I said, I still had the bucket.  I had brought it home and washed it out.

Seeing as I still had the bucket and I had teased Aiden about mailing him a Crawfish, I turned to my faithful friend Amazon.com. for the Crawfish.

In reality, it is a stuffed Lobster.  Lobster~Crawfish.  They look a lot alike, right!?!  HA!

I took my bucket and put some Sparkly Green tissue paper inside (sparkly green because that is what I had) the bucket and put the Lobster~Crawfish inside.  Perfect fit!  The Lobster~Crawfish is just the right size.  Its head is over the edge, looking at you, saying, “Hi!”

I made a little note telling him good luck next week and that I would be praying for him.  I sent him a big hug and then colored the bottom of Paxton’s foot so he could sign the note, too, with his paw print.

Goodness!  I am getting sidetracked with my story.

I had to mail this package today so it would get to Aiden in time for his surgery.  I took the box out to the mailbox just as the mailman was pulling up.  Talk about timing!  I no more than walked back into the house when the UPS truck pulled into the driveway.  Busy place, my house.

MFH walked out to the UPS man and returned with a plastic mailing envelope for me!

“What did you order?”  he asked.

“I can’t remember ordering anything!”  I replied.

I opened the envelope.

There was a note.  It was a present from Aiden!

It was a yellow Michigan shirt.  It had sparkly sequins on it and it was bright and happy!  I quickly put it on.  #1 Son was visiting so he took my pic and I posted it telling Aiden thank you and telling him about mailing his package today, too!

Hahaha!!!  Funny about the mailman and the UPS guy arriving at almost the same time today.  Here’s a pic of the nice yellow shirt from Aiden:
