Today’s run: 45 Min. lifting at the “Y”
“The best part of waking up…” and I really do use Foldger’s !
Well, this morning as I was staggering around the kitchen I listened for the happy sounds of the coffee pot singing it’s familiar song but was greeted with silence. Strange. I checked the plug, turned it off and on, checked the plug again, turned it off and on again…I was pretty sleepy so it took a while for my brain to recognize the fact that the coffee pot had somehow retired from service during the night. Poor coffee pot.
This coffee pot was new to our home. It came with my son when he moved to Mississippi to go to school at State this Fall. It is a nice coffee pot, much better than the “cheapest thing they sell at Wal-Mart” that I usually buy. I was looking for many years of service from it as it had been a Christmas gift to him, from us, this past Christmas.
So, this afternoon, my husband (of 27 years tomorrow!) called the company and they agreed to send us a brand new coffee pot tomorrow! No questions asked! No need of a sales receipt, bar code from the box~nada. Cool Beans! It should arrive within six-eight days. While that is a wonderful thing, that still means that I have to live without my morning joe for six to eight days. Ho-Hum. I guess this is what some would call roughing it?
