[Today’s run: 6 miles with Boardtown Runners]
My running has not been going well the last couple of weeks. I think my last good day was a week ago Tuesday when I ran 12 220 sprints on the road in front of our house. I think somehow that messed up my timing or something. Anyway, I made it to the first water stop in good form then went back to start in less good form. But I made it and enjoyed the rest of the day.
I have finished my two chapter readings for Librivox. I volunteered for two sections of The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. by Washington Irving. I read essays about “The Art of Book-Making” and “The Angler”. I think I got better as it went along. And I was able to get my computer and microphone set up in a comfortable way eventually. It really helped once I figured out I should not be sitting all hunched up in this chair while reading (like I do while typing).
The software for recording is free. So if you have a computer and can get a microphone the rest is easy.
When recording, I make a lot of mistakes. So I just back up a bit and start again. Then I use the software to edit out the bloopers.
