Tummy trouble

[no run since Monday!]

Tuesday I spent the afternoon sitting in the cab of a big loader during a steady rain, trying to get my software to work right. I think the software works, but I know for sure that by the time I left I didn’t feel good.

I made it home OK but have been out of sorts since then. I don’t know what my trouble is except that food and I just aren’t getting along very well. I eat something, then an hour or two later I feel completely exhausted and I have to lie down. I think I am starting to get over it, whatever it was.

I started late last week wearing my contacts again. I dug out my reading glasses and bought some new contact solution, broke open a new pair of contacts and started wearing them. I still have about 7 pairs remaining of the batch I originally bought. They haven’t expired yet.

I went to the optometrist last year and my prescription hasn’t changed. At that time I could have bought a new pair of glasses, but the progressive lenses and the frames I liked came out more than $800 so I just didn’t do it. Then I lost my working pair on a run this winter so I am back to wearing a pair that is about 5-6 years old… I decided to mix it up by doing the contacts again.

I don’t think the contacts have anything to do with the tummy trouble.

“Standoff Between Farmers And Tractor Makers Intensifies Over Repair Issues”

I can see the point of farmers on this one. Keep it simple… It’s why some smaller railroads held onto steam locomotives a bit longer than mainline railroads when converting to Diesel electric – easier to fix even if, really, less efficient overall.
