[Saturday’s run: 8 miles on bike paths/trails in Loveland, CO: today’s run: 3 slow miles on the hotel treadmill]
I really appreciate that modern American towns are interested in trails. These towns along I-25, the Front Range in Colorado have a good trail network.
On Saturday I parked my car in the parking lot at N Taft and W 57th, the Long View Trail parking lot. From there I did 2 miles northward on the Long View Trail, returned to the car for a drink of Gatorade, then went out 2 miles toward the SW on the Westside Trail, and back. That gave me 8 miles. Loveland’s trail system links up to the Ft Collins trail system. And Greeley has a long trail along the Poudre river.
Today I worked from the hotel room while grandma went over to visit and help with the new grand-baby. They invited me over also at dinner time and we watched a movie and ate Thai food. It’s been a great day.

Yes on trails!
From time to time I’ll look at maps of places I’ve lived before and have noticed more trails. Bill Riley was ahead of his time.
