[Yesterday: 3 miles with the pup]
I finished up my feedline installation yesterday. I used some 1/2 inch fiberglass rods from the farm section of the hardware store to make standoffs from the roof line, keeping the feed away from the gutter and roof.
Then I drilled a hole in a basement window frame and routed the feedline into my workshop in the basement.
Today I used the network analyzer to find an antenna tuner setting for the CW portions of 80, 40 and 20 meters.
I hope to be able to operate the fox hunt this week!
In other news, I’ve been sneezing and sniffling some, yesterday and today. I think maybe I am catching a cold.
But for good news: today was the earliest-sunset day for 2019. Starting tomorrow the sun will be up a little later in the afternoon every day until the middle of the summer of 2020.
