Cold Weather

[Today’s run: 5.5 miles]

We are starting off 2018 with a cold weather day.  Our high today was 28.3.  And we have had a breezy day so the windchill has been significant.  There is no snow on the ground, nor ice on the roads.  So it is not as bad as it could be.

Today I cleaned up the radio-room/office and moved my computer workstation stuff back in there.  I swept up the temporary space in the solarium.  I am all moved back, and glad to be here.

I’ve been out to check on the transmitter shack and it was tolerably warm in there.  I bumped up the cool on the little A/C unit.  When it runs it does get ahead of the transmitter and cool things down quickly.  It remains to be seen how it handles the situation with warmer exterior temps.

We went out on a run this morning.  I had on long sleeves and a winter hat and gloves and needed every bit.
