We had frozen pizza for dinner this evening. While we watched “Argo” I ate the rest. So that meant I was over my calorie goal for the day. After the movie I took a flashlight and went for a 40 minute run. That should put me back in the green, just barely.
Today I got an order for a WMFH-LP t-shirt. That is our first order from the website. Kind of a kick! Late last week we got a letter from the IRS that they are working on our 501(c)3 application. They said in the letter that it may be 90 days or it may take longer if they have to ask for more information.
I was supposed to do some followup underwriting calls today but did not get any done. I need to hit that tomorrow.
We worked with the bees a little bit on Monday afternoon. Our new package hives seem to be doing very well. The vigorous existing hive was strangely quiet, more quiet than it should have been . We are thinking that it may have swarmed and some of the population left. So we took off a full super of honey and got 13 jars out of it. That will reduce the amount of real estate that the depleted population has to defend from bugs and wax moths. We hope they make a comeback. If they are able to raise up a new queen and get things going they should be fine.
