High water

[Yesterday: one hour of rowing]

Having eaten too much pizza on Sunday and Monday, I needed to get some exercise on my diary at MyFitnessPal.com and balance out the calories.  So I took the little rowboat down to the river after work and rowed upstream for about 35-40 minutes and then back downstream, making an hour of steady rowing.

The river is running high with lots of floating foam and junk in the water.  It was calm; no waves except for wakes of a couple of other boats that went by.  This picture is north of the US-82 bridge, facing upstream, northwest.  Around that far corner there is a lock and dam, maybe 1.5 miles upstream.
