[Today’s run: 6 miles?]
Today our church had a fishing outing over at a private lake in Alabama. #1 son and I went over. We fished for about an hour, then stopped for lunch at the church-run fish-fry. The food was great. But things were a bit subdued by a drizzling rain.
After lunch we fished for another couple of hours. We ended up catching crappie, bass and breem (like sunfish) and brought home 7 (?) fish large enough to eat.
We hauled the little rowboat in the back of the F-150 and used a trolling motor most of the time to get around the lake. It worked well.
