[Today’s run: 5 miles]
Tomorrow the vacation is over and it’s back to work for me.
After being at the same job for quite a few years, I have a lot of vacation accrued. I think I get either 3 or 4 weeks each year and I don’t think I have ever taken that much. Maybe I have, I don’t remember losing any and my “bank” is full, so I guess I must be using it.
In theory, working remotely I could get myself off to just about anywhere that had internet access and the folks at the office would be none the wiser. And I have worked from wifi hotspots, doctors offices, waiting rooms, etc. with no visible difficulty.
The cell phone worked fine in Berlin, and I did receive a few texts and calls while we were there.
But back to the normal situation tomorrow. I’ll be sitting here at my desk in the office.
