Cool day

[Today’s run: St. Paul’s church]

It’s been quite awhile since I ran to the St. Paul M.B. Church on Robinson Road.  My records show that it is 5.38 miles.

The morning was crisp and cool, 32 degrees according to the cheap thermometer.  The run was nice.  I don’t think I saw a person or a vehicle on the whole trip.  No, I take that back, I did see a pickup truck on Evans road when I was returning.  By then it was getting around to 8 AM.

I also saw a big owl again on Robinson road.  I don’t know if it was the same one I tried to photograph in April 2011.  Do owls live a long time?

My wife was in Greenwood, MS for a half-marathon race.  She did great and enjoyed meeting a lot of her on-line friends in person.

Later in the morning I worked on our bee hives a bit and we finished up the taxes today and cleaned out some of our old banker’s boxes of records (2004-2006).
