That’s terrific bass

[today’s run: 5.4 miles with Boardtown runners]

We rolled out of bed early this morning and I finished putting the wmfh-lp.org website page together which we can use to sell our new t-shirts.

Then we drove to Starkville to the running club, talked a bit, then did our run.  We did a bit different route than the rest of the group to avoid some nasty gravel and that brought us back to the house before the main bunch.  I had some nice bean soup while watching a kiddie-movie on the big screen TV and listening to other’s talk.

After we got home, son came over and we planned our fishing for today.  We went over to the neighbor’s place.  He has a nice lake, water is clear, and we usually catch fish there.  He had told us that it was time to pull some fish out.

So we loaded up the stuff and went over there.  We met the neighbor and he fixed us up with some hot fishing lures.  We put the boat in the water and rowed around.  Richard, the neighbor, came out in his boat after awhile and we watched him catch a bunch of fish.  And we caught a few too.  It was a nice day to be out there.

I got a bit sunburnt on my arms.

We kept 8 of the fish and I had the opportunity to practice my fish-cleaning skills (which are almost non-existent).  That probably tripled the number of fish I have cleaned in my life.

After getting home we had a bite to eat.  Then I made some oatmeal-chocolate-chip cookies.

I’ve done a lot of good in the world today!
